Position Title: House Manager

Established in 1989, the Maidstone Group provides 24 hour supportive care to people with developmental and pnhysical disabilities. Participants are non-verbal and non-violent.

Brief description of available position

We are seeking one individual with excellent judgement, interpersonal and communication skills to assume the role of house manager - 24 hour shifts with scheduled time off during the day (5 hours) and sleep time. As supervisor in the home, you will be responsible for all aspects of client care, including the administration of medication, while maintaining a comfortable and efficient home environment. Supervising the program workers, and reporting directly to the Administrator, you will work closely with other management staff.

Experience and Qualifications

Qualifying applicants typically have a Rehab Worker Diploma but consideration will be given to those applicants who have an equivalent combination of education and/or experience, CPR and First Aid are required or a willingness to obtain. Extensive training will be provided but you must have a current Class 5 Drivers License and a Police Record Check completed.

Compensation Information

Compensation $243.00 - $266.49 per day, based on SARC Education and Experience Matrix with scheduled time off per day. Benefits provided. Start Date: August 24, 2010
