Position Title: Recycling Technician 2 - Casual

We are a non-profit, charitable organization, and a member of the SK Association of Rehabilitation Centres (SARC). In addition to a full service Sarcan Depot, we also operate an Activity Centre, Woodshop and Recycling Program serving developmentally & intellectually disabled adults in our community.

Brief description of available position

Attention Students – Looking for a few hours after school? We are looking for casual employees to work until 6:30 pm after school, from Monday to Friday, with opportunity to become full time employment during our busy summer months. No evenings, weekends or statutory holidays!! We are currently accepting applications for several casual positions in our SARCAN Recycling Depot.

Experience and Qualifications

Duties Include: • Receiving, counting and recording customer containers for deposit refunds at the front counter • Preparing containers for shipping • Loading & unloading trailers using depot equipment • Performing cleaning & maintenance duties as required • Deal with customer inquiries Requirements: • Must be able to follow instructions and focus on own job tasks • Must concentrate when counting and recording • Follow all safe work practices • Must be able to bend, stretch and lift; moving heavy containers
