Position Title: Direct Support Worker

Due to expansion Multiworks has several openings for Direct Support Workers. A new 4 space group home is expected to be completed in Sept-Oct. Upon completion of a successful interview employment could commence imediately .

Brief description of available position

Supporting people with disabilities, these are front line positions, full time, part time, and casual for all shifts. Expectations will be to meet all of the diverse needs of the residents

Experience and Qualifications

No experience necessary but these positions would be of interest to those having Basic Skills Training and/or a Rehabilitation Certificate. Must posess a valid drivers license,and First Aid/CPR certificates or be willing to get them immediately. Must be able to provide a clean Criminal Record Check. Must posess good life skills such as cooking, cleaning, and have good basic living skills. Must be able to provide good quality care for the residents. The ideal candidate will be a good role model, be able to perform personal care functions as required, posess good written and oral communication skills, participate in varied recreational activities.
