Prairie Community Endeavours is a non-profit organization whose aim is to assist adult individuals with disabilities in meeting their needs and improving their quality of life. is operated by a volunteer board of concerned community members.

Brief description of available position

The job position is for a 1 year full time maternity position. Monday to Friday from 9:00am to 4:00pm. Closed on statutory holidays. The successful candidate will start in September 2010. The Job entails: Program planning and delivery, working with the adult participants with disabilities, job coaching, facilitate educational and recreational tours,and administration duties for example: prepare the agenda for monthly meetings, write proposals and report to government funders.

Experience and Qualifications

A background in working with people with disabilities is a requirement. A valid drivers license, oral and written communication skills are beneficial and can work independently. Current First Aid & CPR certificate is also a requirement.
